Our military reference SMARTbooks are also available through most Army and Airforce Exchange System (AAFES) PXs, BXs and Military Clothing Sales Stores at many posts/bases (CONUS and OCONUS) and specialized military book stores such as Fort Leavenworth's CGSC Military Book Store.
How to place an order through our purchase/order page...
1. Add your SMARTbook to your shopping cart
Click on the "Place in Cart" or "Buy Now" button to add your SMARTbook to your shopping cart. (Once you do this, you will automatically be taken to step 2.)

2. (Checkout) Chose order & payment options
When you have finished shopping and are ready to complete your order, click on "Checkout." You will be taken to an online order form. There you will be able to choose your payment option (credit card, check or money order) and your payment method (online processing, toll-free phone, fax or mail).
Note: You can click on "View Cart" at anytime to view or change the contents of your cart.
3. Payment Processing
Depending on how you choose to pay, your invoice will be prepared. If you choose to pay by credit card, you will be transferred to Cardservices, Intnl. for secure credit card processing. If you choose to pay by check, you will be presented a printable order form for mailing (your order will be held pending receipt of payment).
4. Order Confirmation!
In addition to an on-screen invoice and (printable) receipt, you will be sent a receipt of your order via email (if you provide your email address). Most orders are processed within 24 hours.
5. SMARTregister (Optional) Keep your SMARTbooks up-to-date!
The Lightning Press will provide free e-mail notification of updates, revisions and doctrinal changes to your SMARTproducts. Updates and their prices will be announced by e-mail as significant changes or revised editions are published. Click here for details.
